2 Hour Class Breakdown
- warm-up: skipping/jump-rope, running, exercise bike - it’s up to you.
- hand-wrapping: our trainers will wrap your hands until you figure it out!
- stretching: a thorough sequence of dynamic stretches to get you ready for action.
- shadowboxing - not just a warm-up! Shadowboxing is a key element in honing your technique. Trainers move among the students, offering advice and encouragement.
- bag-work: students practice their strikes and combinations on a wide range of bags, watched over by our trainers.
- pad-work: work 1-to-1 with a champion trainer as they refine your technique and guide you through sequences of strikes. Our team are full of enthusiasm and intent on helping you achieve maximum power!
- sparring: there’s no pressure to spar if you’re not ready. For those who are, the trainers will watch closely to ensure sparring sessions are well-matched, safe and controlled.
- drills: students pair up and work on Muay Thai basics and more advanced techniques, such as catching kicks, blocking, footwork and combinations.
- cardio: we do sit-ups and push-ups in-between every round, to make sure you get fighting fit. We also do these exercises in a group, so we can all push our limits together and have fun while doing so!
- warm-down stretching: a last set of stretches and then it is time to eat!
