Muay Thai Training for Fighters on Koh Phangan
Lots of fighters train at Diamond, from people preparing for their first bout to experienced competitors sharpening up. Our Trainer/Fighters still put it all into practice in the ring, and in 2026 we're #1 in Koh Phangan for recorded fights.

Tell Us About Your Fight
We're honest about it: we don't run a set fight programme. What we do have is a gym full of fighters, so there's always someone good to learn from and train with.
Our trainers have years of experience in Thailand's stadiums. If you have a fight coming up, just let us know and they'll be happy to tailor your sessions to help you prepare. Can you fight while you're here? Yes. Lots of our students fight every month, depending on ability, and some have stepped into the ring after about a month of training. Tell us you'd like to fight and we'll help arrange it.
We also sponsor fighters. One of them is Ty, a UK-Thai fighter on the Diamond team.
- Two 2-hour sessions a day: 08:00–10:00 and 16:00–18:00, Monday to Saturday.
- Pads, clinch and sparring: one-to-one pad rounds, clinch work and lots of controlled technical sparring.
- Conditioning: Muay Thai for Fitness with Kru Rit (ex-army), Tuesday and Thursday, for the endurance to keep a high pace into the fifth round.
- 24/7 gym access: extra sessions whenever suits you.
- Private lessons: fight-specific work one-to-one with the trainer you choose, 700B an hour. WhatsApp us to book.
- Help arranging fights: when you and your trainer feel you're ready.

Train With Our Trainer/Fighters
Most of our trainers are former champions and title-holders, and a few are young, up-and-coming fighters who still compete. As one student put it, "in the 2 weeks I spent there 4 of the trainers competed in local fights and won everything." Kru Mon, our owner and master, no longer holds pads. He walks the gym floor during every session, watching closely and offering the kind of advice only a true master can give.

A 100+ fight veteran from across Southern Thailand, and a great clinch partner for students of all sizes.

Quick, agile and ferocious in the ring, with lightning-fast kicks and superb sweeps.

A special talent in the ring, so you learn from someone who still puts it all into practice.

A natural talent and one of our most exciting up-and-coming fighters.
Plus Armin (Trainer/Fighter), calm and friendly on the pads, pushing experienced students to the end of every round. Meet the whole team.
