Recovery at Diamond: Yoga & Ice Baths
Training twice a day in the island heat is the fun part. Feeling ready to do it all again tomorrow is the tricky bit. That's why recovery is built into every Train & Stay week: ice baths twice a week and three 90-minute Yoga for Muay Thai classes.

Ice Baths
Our brand-new ice tubs are filled to the brim with fresh ice twice a week, every Wednesday and Saturday from 10:30 to 12:30, straight after morning training. Climb in with your training mates, laugh through the first cold minute and let your legs thank you. Lots of fighters swear by a cold soak after a hard session, and on a hot island morning it's the best cool-down there is.
It's also one of the most sociable hours of the week. Expect gasps, laughter and a few people pretending they're not cold.
New to ice baths?
- Ease in slowly and keep your first few dips short.
- Breathe out long and slow. It helps you settle into the cold.
- Get out if you feel numb, dizzy or unwell. There are no prizes for staying in longest.
- Check with your doctor first if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure or any other health worry.
Not on a package? Walk-ins are welcome for 200B.
Yoga: Flexibility and Focus
Three afternoons a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 13:00 to 14:30, Yoga for Muay Thai takes over the gym. With our tropical gardens all around, it's a calm, shady space to slow right down between two training sessions.
The classes are built around what Muay Thai does to your body. Kicking and clinching leave the hips and hamstrings tight, so each 90-minute session focuses on opening the hips, lengthening the hamstrings and decompressing the spine, with restorative poses, breathwork and mobility work. You don't need to be flexible to join. That's rather the point.
Classes are led by our yoga teacher, Supa. Yoga is a mental break too. It helps you build the calm under pressure you need for sparring and competition.
How It All Fits Together
Muay Thai runs 08:00–10:00 and 16:00–18:00, Monday to Saturday, with meals at 10:00 and 18:00 for Train & Stay guests. Around that, here's what's on to help you recover:

| Tuesday | Rest between sessions (Muay Thai for Fitness with Kru Rit 11:00–12:00 if you've energy left) |
| Wednesday | Ice bath 10:30–12:30 · Yoga 13:00–14:30 |
| Thursday | Rest between sessions (Muay Thai for Fitness 11:00–12:00) |
| Friday | Yoga 13:00–14:30 |
| Saturday | Ice bath 10:30–12:30 |

Recover the Island Way
Nai Wok beach is a 2-minute walk from camp, and a gentle swim or a lazy float is a lovely way to loosen tired legs. The Wat Pho herbal sauna is a favourite with our students. On Sundays, hire scooters together and explore the jungle, viewpoints and waterfalls.
And don't forget the simplest recovery tool of all: sleep. Have a nap between sessions, read in a hammock, and drink more water than you think you need.
