How to Get to Diamond Muay Thai, Koh Phangan

Diamond Muay Thai is at 145/8 Moo 1, Nai Wok, Koh Phangan, which makes it one of the easiest camps on the island to reach. We're a 2-minute walk from Nai Wok beach and a 5-minute drive from the main town, Thong Sala.

Step 1

Step 1: Getting to Koh Phangan

Most students arrive at Thong Sala Pier.

Fly to Koh Samui (USM)

The fastest route. Take a 30–50 minute ferry (Lomprayah or Seatran) straight to Thong Sala.

Fly to Surat Thani (URT)

The budget route. Buy a joint bus and ferry ticket at the airport, which takes you all the way to the pier.

From Bangkok

Overnight buses and trains run with tickets that include the ferry crossing.

Step 2: Getting to the Camp

Once you're off the ferry, the camp is just a short trip away.

Taxi

Take a songthaew (shared pickup taxi) and tell the driver you're going to Diamond Muay Thai in Nai Wok. It's a quick, cheap 5-minute ride.

Walk

If you're travelling light, it's about a 15-minute walk from the pier.

Packing for camp is easy because we've done the heavy lifting. We provide all the essential training gear, including gloves, shin guards and hand wraps, for you to borrow free of charge. Whether you're a beginner or travelling light, you'll have everything you need the moment you arrive.

Your Packing List

  • Training clothes: lightweight, breathable workout clothes or Muay Thai shorts.
  • Two towels: one for the gym and one for your shower afterwards.
  • Toiletries: antibacterial body wash or soap, to keep your skin healthy after close-contact training.
  • Supplements: if you have a routine, bring your usual protein powder, electrolytes or pre-workout to help you stay sharp and recover in the tropical heat.
  • Personal protection: we have gear to borrow, but your own mouthguard and groin guard will fit best.
  • Footwear: running shoes for morning runs and flip-flops for everything else.
